About Gahan Haskins
Gahan grew up at USMC Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, surrounded by the warriors who secured their freedom. He lived a life experiencing the beauty and independence that the United States offers to all. After his father passed away, his mother relocated the family to Greenwich, CT, where Gahan’s life changed dramatically. He embraced the new opportunities this environment offered.
His early interest in the Arts, nurtured by his remarkable mother, Marge Mahoney, led him to New York City. As a long-time resident of New York City, he was initially drawn by Modern Dance and Acting, which later transitioned into involvement in the thriving film industry, covering roles from casting to location scouting, script writing to filmmaking.
The filmed entertainment Industry is currently undergoing transformation. Once known for its excitement and creativity, it has shifted away from the values that unite Americans. However, Gahan believes we are on the cusp of a new, exciting era in storytelling. This era promises truthful and dynamic narratives.
Now, he advocates for stories that reflect the vibrant and challenging lives of Americans in their beautiful country. Paraphrasing his Marine Corps father, Gahan believes in either “blinding them with brilliance or baffling them with bullshit,” as long as the story gets told. He invites others to join him in the adventure of crafting these brilliant stories
